Do you know your desserts?
In addition to watching Food TV, I visit their website quite a bit. I am always looking for the next important bit of news to share with my readers. Well, while I was looking at the site this evening. I came across Fine Living. Mind you, I’ve seen plenty of links on Food Network since they are owned by the same people, but today for some reason I decided to check out the site.
It was all because of a quiz about how well you know your desserts. As I have been kicking around the idea of opening a restaurant, I decided to test my knowledge. I wasn’t expecting to do well for the mere fact that I am a much better chef than I am a baker. However, I surprised myself and came out with a seven out of ten.
While I was there, I did a little looking around and discovered that there are also a lot of cooking shows that are available on Fine Living. The best part is that many of these shows were once on Food TV. If you were once a lover of East meets West, Molto Mario, Mings Quest, or Follow that Food, you can find them all on Fine Living along with some new shows, such as Made to Order, Food Finds, and Dinner Date.
If you end up taking the dessert quiz, let me know how you did. I know in my case, 70% isn’t so bad for someone that rarely bakes. I have a little practicing to do, but as I said I have not yet attempted to make baking a strong suit.
