Dinner Impossible Starts June 22
Take James Bond and mix him with a hint of Houdini and what do you get? You get Dinner Impossible. Chef Robert Irvine returns to Food Network on June 22 for the second season of Dinner Impossible. The first episode will air Sunday night, immediately after the conclusion of the Next Food Network Star. The first episode will have Chef Robert heading to the south side of Chicago for a White Sox Baseball game. His mission will be to feed a section full of 200 fans.
The catch is that he will need to be able to do this by the seventh inning stretch. Depending on who the Sox are playing, this could be a tough challenge. Hopefully he will have a little time to prepare before the game begins. Otherwise we might not see too many people eating.
Chef Robert is always entertaining to watch and usually manages to do a good job at meeting all or most of his challenge’s demands.
However, in recent interviews he has stated that his challenges become considerably harder, if nothing else, this new season should be quite entertaining to watch. After all, last season had him doing tailgate, stuck on a desert island, cooking in an ice hotel, cooking chuck wagon style, and that was just the half of things he had to do. It will be fun to see what each new week will bring.
If you miss it, don’t worry. The show will replay once or twice during the week. Also, I will also be adding a recap of the show for those of you who didn’t get a chance to watch it on Food Network. You can look for the first Dinner: Impossible recap on Monday.

Seems bizarre that they traveled down to the Bowery (50 blocks south) .. instead of around the corner to Columbus Circle from Rockefeller Center ….
I guess more drama there …
I do find the show lots of fun …
