About Cindy

PA030779.JPGHi everyone. I’m Cindy, a 28 year old mother of one. That one is a gorgeous 2 year old boy, who goes by the moniker Little Dude in my blogs. I am married to a wonderful man, a clown actually. No friends, I mean that literally, he is a clown for a living. A balloon twister specifically, and the most talented man I know. We live together with my parents in Las Vegas, NV. A fact that I am grateful for, as it means that my son never has to go to daycare.

I work full time as a Front Desk Agent for a major time share resort here in town. The pay isn’t fantastic, but the job is. I am one of the few people I know that can honestly say I love my job. My co-workers are amazing, the management staff is phenomenal, and the guests (most of them anyway) are a lot of fun to talk to.

In my spare time I try to get in quality time with my family. In my house this means watching TV most of the time. By the end of the day we’re all so tired from our various jobs that we end up playing with the Little Dude in the living room, with one show or the other on. I am a HUUUUUUGE fan of the food network, and could watch it almost all the time. While there are some shows that bore me to tears, for the most part I love watching talented people making good food. Some of my favorite shows include Good Eats, and really anything with Alton Brown; I am also a Rachael Ray fan, and really enjoy all of her shows. And for all you Rachael haters out there, I don’t really want to hear it, I find it really silly and juvenile to spend your time watching and complaining about things you hate. Please, don’t do it here. But I digress… I am also a huge fan of Iron Chef, Paula Deen, Sandra Lee, Guy Fieri, of course Emeril, and oh so many others.

I hope that you enjoy what I write, I hope that you comment, and above all I hope that you remember that a good life, includes good food.
