About Ashtyn

I suppose there is a lot that I could tell you, but I will do my best to keep things simple. My name is Ashtyn Evans. I have been writing professionally for close to five years. I started my first blog a year ago and branched out as I wanted an excuse to blog more and work for someone else, less. In the past year, I have concentrated most on my main blog,  Literary Illusions, which is an information portal specializing in news and reviews. We review books, music, movies, television shows, games, and more. We recently branched out into news and commentary, as well, though you’re more likely to find me writing reviews.

I am currently starting some new blogs on topics that include religion, food, disabilities, and sexuality. Psycho for Love, another blog I recently started deals with Crimes of Passion. As a former Criminal Justice student, it’s fun to be able to report on all the crazed lovers out there. I also run a blog about sex primarily for women, which you can view at SheKnows Sex.

When I am not blogging, I am concentrating on my studies. I am enrolled in college, where I study Psychology with plans to become a Sex Therapist. I live in Michigan with my son, my future husband, my mother, and one spoiled Shih-Tzu. Non-blogging interests include gourmet cooking, television, music, movies, surfing the Internet, social networking, and finding ways to get paid for things I don’t feel  are work (in the sense that I like doing them).

If you read my blog often, feel free to comment or to send me an email to let me know your thoughts. I love communicating with my readers and am always out to make a new friend.
